ThinkMarkets notifies clients older MT4 builds support will be discontinued

Online trading company ThinkMarkets has informed its clients of pending changes related to the MetaTrader 4 (MT4) platform.

On 1 October 2021, the developer of the MetaTrader 4 platform, Metaquotes, will discontinue their support to all old platform builds below 1320. By requiring all users to utilise build 1320 or newer, Metaquotes can improve performance and increase stability of the entire MetaTrader 4 platform.

This change will affect all ThinkMarkets clients using older Desktop or Mobile terminals below the 1320 platform build. Beginning 1 October 2021, they will be no longer be able to connect to their trading accounts.

ThinkMarkets clients who need to update their MetaTrader 4 platform are instructed to go to their ThinkPortal room and locate the “Platforms” section. There they will be able to download the latest version of the MetaTrader 4 platform.
