Recently, the UK FCA issued a warning: “AXI Corp Limited” is a clone company of the registered foreign exchange and CFD broker Axi and its sister company One Financial Markets, and it was announced on the FCA website last Thursday (February 2, 2023) .
Australian broker AxiCorp is understood to have acquired UK licensed broker One Financial Markets in August 2018, with the retail broker now trading as Axi Financial Services (UK) Limited. Alternatively, Axi is operated by AxiCorp Limited. And AXI Corp (or Axis Investing) cleverly took a similar company name, only a difference of one space, confused the audience, and applied its information, thereby deceiving investors.
According to the FCA, while the clone firm is based in Leadenhall Street, London, the two licensing firms, Axi and its sister company One Financial Markets, are based at 1 Finsbury Market, London. However, the regulator did not disclose the website address of the clone company AXI Corp Limited, only providing its address, phone number and e-mail address.
following details as part of their tactics to scam people in the UK:
AXI Corp Limited (Clone of FCA authorised firm)
Address: 36-38 Leadenhall Street, London, UNITED KINGDOM, EC3A 1AT
Telephone: 07830704934, +393487019009, +30211198475, +4591300591
Be aware that scammers may give out other false details or mix these with some correct details of the registered firm. They may change contact details over time to new email addresses, telephone numbers or physical addresses.
