Spanish CNMV warns: these 6 traders are not authorized by the regulator

On May 22, 2023, the Spanish financial regulator CNMV issued a warning against six unauthorized forex dealers.

Pursuant to Article 17, paragraph 2, of the Securities Market Law (rewritten text approved by Royal Decree No. 4/2015 of 23 October), the Spanish National Securities Market Commission (Comisión Nacional del Mercado de Valores) warns that the following companies are not Authorized to provide investment services under Article 140 of the Spanish Securities Market Law. These include investment advice, or the provision of ancillary services detailed in Section 141(a), (b), (d), (f) and (g) of the Act in relation to financial instruments referred to in Article 2 of the Act, Includes foreign currency transactions for this purpose.

The UK FCA has also warned the trader, and this is the second time the CNMV has issued a warning.

3. Polar BTC

Britain’s FCA and France’s AMF have also warned the trader.

4. CTmatador / WIND HOLDINGS LTD

In June 2022, BrokersView exposed CTmatador as a scam.

Belgium’s FSMA and Sweden’s FINMA have also warned the trader, and this is the second time the CNMV has issued a warning.
